Maya Angelou has a wonderful quote that I've fallen back on many times:
"We do the best we can with what we know, and when we know better, we do better."
You did the best you could at the time. You have to remember that.
Your post is warm and heartfelt and I know it will help other women who are going through the same thing but perhaps don't know it yet. Thanks so much for writing.
