Anon, I'm so glad you found EmpowHer. Welcome, and I hope we can be of some help to you. Your daughter's situation is heartbreaking, and I know it must be so painful for you to be so far away from her.

Do you believe she is getting good medical care? Do you like her doctor? Is he a psychiatrist? Would he agree that she needs in-patient care or a different living situation?

Please tell me more about what system she is getting lost in. The insurance system? The psychiatric care system? Can you talk a little bit more about this?

What is your daughter's situation? Is she able to keep a part-time job, or does she primarily stay at home? What is her living situation now? Has she ever been in a controlled living situation?
