Hi Sam,

From what you described, the likelihood of getting pregnant from any sperm remaining on your boyfriend's one fingertip after his hands were washed, is very, very unlikely. Plus, if he really just barely touched the outermost part of your vagina for mere seconds, it is even less likely that this would cause a pregnancy. If his hands were not washed, it is slightly more plausible, but barely.

Do you know the date of your last menstrual period, if it was 2 months ago?

Do you have a school nurse that you can talk to, or another doctor, about your missed period? I hope you are less scared to talk with someone, since it is unlikely that you are pregnant. (I assume you have not been to the Gynecologist yet, although it would be a really good idea since you are sexually active). You need to let someone know that you have not had a period for 2 months; this can be normal, as menstrual cycles can be irregular within the first few years of menstruating (and, can continue to be irregular as you get older, but it is even more common in teenagers).

Since you and your boyfriend have decided to be sexually active (that does not mean you are having intercourse, by the way), have you talked with him about ways to be safe? Any exchange of bodily fluids (including masturbating) is considered "unsafe sex", and he should be using a condom. You might want to talk with a trusted family member or caretaker about going to the gynecologist, so you can protect yourself, too.

If you are still scared, you can take a home pregnancy test (they are about $15), about the time you would expect your period (say, 4 weeks after unprotected sex or a possible exchange of bodily fluids).
