You're a reminder to me that there is a drive within all of us, something that can't be ignored. Clearly, following your passion is as much about your recovery as is a visit to a doctor or a new medicine. I would never have believed that in recovering from something as difficult as recurrent cancer that a patient would also have to manage recurring drama and anxiety, but I guess life goes on in ALL its good and bad ways, doesn't it? Thank you for writing about this -- it was extremely personal and you certainly didn't have to bare this side of the journey. Please know that I and countless others appreciate that you did.
