I am going through this with my 14 year daughter as well. It just takes lots of practice and patience. One tip...if you have some lubricant, I would suggest having your daughter put some on the tampon the first few times, it seem to help my daughter. One other suggestion is to tell your daughter to try to relax and take a few deep breaths when inserting the tampon because as you may know when you tense up it makes it more difficult to insert the tampon.
