Thank you so much for visiting the website and for asking your question here. You know what's kind of interesting about your question, is if you had written the same thing but substituted in "arm" or "leg" for "nipple" I would have said pretty much what the poster said above. But for me, when it has to do with our breasts, we just cannot be too careful.

If it were me, I'd make an appointment to get it looked at. It might be a bug bite or it could be an infected Montgomery gland (those small bumps we have on our areolas around the nipples), or something else. But since you've had it for a month and it's not going away, I'd make an appointment first thing Monday morning. Since you have allergies it may well turn out to be no big deal, but I have a feeling you'll feel better if you know for sure.
