Hi, Anon,

I really want to side with Michelle and encourage you to make a doctor's appointment. It seems like with an insect bite, you'd have seen some change over the month.

Glad there's no pain. Do you have redness? And if you rub or scratch it, does it get worse (like an insect bite would)?

You might be dealing with a skin condition like eczema, or a fungal condition, something that will clear up with some medicine. And if you wait another month, that's just another month before you get started on treatment.

At the very least, call your doctor's office and talk to the nurse practitioner -- she or he can give you a good idea of whether you need to be seen, or some suggestions on what sort of topical ointment may help.

By chance are you breastfeeding?

Or wearing anything (like a sports bra) that rubs right there?

Have you changed anything in the last month, like shampoo, laundry detergent, or medicine?
