Wonderful post, Kelly, thanks!

Limiting beliefs are greatly underestimated, when it comes to weight loss.

The most people only try diets and use their will power to stick to it, which (we all know…) lasts only a few days, or weeks, unfortunately.

If the limiting beliefs are not addressed and you do not see IMMIDIATE results, 99% fall back to where they was before their started the new diet.

Because the driving force behind their eating problem is still there! This force are the limiting beliefs, like you described, and conditions (kind of unconscious automatic reactions situation-eating).

The typical limiting beliefs are most of the time NOT what we would expect them to be. Often they seem really weird if we hear them for the first time, but for the person who has the belief it totally makes sense, here are some examples:

- eating is the best way to get pleasure,
- the way to be accepted by others is to be imperfect and for me that’s being heavy
- the best way to avoid sex is to be heavy,
- the best way to feel better when I don’t feel good is to eat,
- the best way to celebrate is to eat,

Pretty surprising, isn’t it?

Now the question is of course, how to eliminate the beliefs and conditions (for example the condition „feeling guilty/bored – having to eat“). The NLP method is one of the best. It has helped a lot of people already.

There are also other ways to do it, e.g. the Lefkoe Belief Process lets you easily eliminate all beliefs AND conditions, related to emotional eating/overeating.

Here you can find out more about how you can stop emotional eating it: http://www.recreateyourlife.com/1?p=davidfree&w=es-sales

Thanks and I hope the you will help a lot of people to lose their weight soon!
