It's definitely something to be aware of and to ask your health care provider about the next time you see her or him. Do you do breast self-exams, and have you felt any sort of lump? Is there any warmth or "feverish" feeling in the area? Any change in coloration or texture of the skin?
It is probably perfectly normal. But since it's only been something you've noticed in the past couple of months, I would ask about it. Do you have an annual exam or any other doctor's appointment coming up soon? If so, be sure to ask about this. If not, you might call your doctor's office and just ask to speak to the nurse practitioner on duty. Tell her or him your symptoms and ask if it's something to just keep an eye on or whether the doctor should see you.
