I'm so glad you contacted us! And I am so sorry that your sister is not doing well. I guess I'm echoing Diane by recommending that you get your sister in to a clinic as soon as possible. PPD can get much worse very fast, and it's important to get help as soon as you can. If left untreated, PPD can develop into a more severe mood disorder called Postpartum Psychosis, that can result in a new mother trying to harm her baby or herself.
I've had postpartum depression and know how horrible it is -- not only for the new mom, but for her family as well. Please let us know if we can help you find a doctor or clinic in your area.
