hi, i'm beccy. my 2.5yr old has been suffering with this for some time now. he can be walking and running about fine (like a 2yr old does) and jumping on his trampoline and general playing one minute and be down on the floor next. my difference is that he actaully says "Mummy my leg hurts". i have taken him to a GP in the past and they simply told me to monitor it and to take him back if it was persistent, but it is not. he squats fine. he does complain most mornings whilst walking upstairs that his leg hurts but i dont know if he is telling the truth or not. the most recent event was just this last sunday (feb 2011). it was a particuarly bad incident as he fell down a couple of stairs. he was terribly upset and appeared to be in quite a lot of pain. i am rtying to get him an appt with the GP but they are rubbish and do not allow you book in advance and when you call for an appt on the day, all the appts are bloody taken - should I deem this as an emergency appt?????
