Hi,
Oh---I'm sorry I misread your question! Will your ovary be OK is what you meant.

Having a cyst rupture on your ovary---that sounds extremely painful and I'm happy that you are OK.

It is impossible for us to tell you if your ovary is going to be OK after surgery, as we do not know all of your pertinent personal health information (nor, are we medical doctors), and as you mentioned that you have "not yet had children", I'm assuming you are also asking if you will be able to have children.

Many women are able to become pregnant after having ovarian cysts removed, but infertility is a risk factor. It really depends on the size and location of the cysts, among many other variables that only your doctor and surgeon will be able to discuss with you.

I assume you have been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), is that correct? Do you have any additional information from your health care providers that you need help answering?

There are some great resources and support groups for PCOS:
Empowher: PCOS
PCOS Support
Women's Health: PCOS

When is your surgery scheduled? What information can we help you in answering about your treatment options, recovery process, or other? We wish you the best, and please ask us more questions that we can help you answer.
