What you are saying makes a lot of sense and if possible you definitely want to get your care paid for!! So I'd stick with the list you've been given then too. But maybe keep that "cancellation list" tip in the back of your mind and if you get a lot of "Dr. X. can see you on Halloween," then try asking about it.
