First of all, don't be too worried, OK? Some girls don't start their periods until later. One of our moderators wrote about this recently and she was 17 when she started. Just because your twin started doesn't mean that you won't, but I know that makes it seem a lot more worrisome, especially with your thyroid issues. (Are you identical twins? Does she also have an underactive thyroid?)
Are you underweight or overweight?
Have you asked a doctor about this? What does she or he say? What does your mom say?
