My mom had a sleeve surgery about 4 months ago ,she was well postop until the 10th day of surgery when a leak was diagnosed with barrium swalow test. First she had tpn for 2weeks and nothing by mouth after that the leakage did not healed but it got smaller , they said to her she could start liquid and had a xray every week .since no improvement they used a clip for but it also failed then they inserted a stent for 6weeks, unfortunately yesterday they removed it and saw that not only the leakage didnt get healed but got bigger too !! So, they inserted the second stent . She is so depreesed we dont know what to do. I havent seen my mom for 6 months because she lives in the us. Does anyone gave an expireince with second stent? I wonder if everything will get to normal ever?!!
