Hi Jeniffer,

Yes, there is a possibility of becoming pregnant while your hymen is still intact. Women's hymens have different levels of being "intact", and as such, the vaginal opening can be wide enough for a penis to be inserted while the hymen is still "intact". Also, if your hymen is no longer intact after playing sports, this does not increase your risk of pregnancy.

In other words: your hymen does not have anything to do with your chances of becoming pregnant.

In order to have a possibility of pregnancy, your boyfriend's sperm would need to be on/near/inside your vagina. If your boyfriend ejaculates anywhere on/near/inside your vagina without protection, there is a possibility of pregnancy. Your hymen may or may not be intact; it is irrelevant...what is relevant is the sexual activity.

Does that all make sense?

When a man's penis becomes erect, there is fluid called "pre-ejaculatory fluid" on the tip. Just a few drops. Most of the time, this fluid does not contain any sperm, but there is a chance that it could. There is also a chance that your boyfriend ejaculates without meaning to, and he may not be able to move physically away from your vagina quick enough (depending on the position you two are in), and I would hate for you to be worried in the future.

To have the most fun, be intimate with your boyfriend, and not worry about possible pregnancy...the most reliable and "safer" choice would to be for him to wear a condom, even if you aren't having sex. That way, you two are able to rub genitals without fear of pregnancy.

Hope that helps...please let us know if you have any additional questions.
