Hi, Anon, and welcome to EmpowHer. Thanks so much for your question!

I found this on Planned Parenthood's site about NuvaRing:

"After ring use is stopped, it usually takes one or two months for a woman’s periods to return to the cycle she had before using it. Once in a while, a woman may have irregular or absent periods. This may go on for as long as six months after stopping. This is more likely if her periods were irregular before using the ring."

Here's that entire page:

So you're normal! Don't worry so much about it, and by all means don't let it add to the rest of your stress, because that can affect your hormones as well.

Stress before a wedding -- especially if your job is also going nuts -- is really hard to deal with, I know. Try to take just 15 minutes a day to decompress, by yourself. I don't know where that 15 minutes can come from, but it might be getting up 15 minutes earlier to do nothing but sit by the kitchen window with a cup of coffee and your planner, or it might mean a 15-minute walk at lunchtime. You need a small amount of time to breathe.

I know what it's like to fear the Evil Gods of Period Timing. You have two choices here -- ask your doctor if you can re-start birth control now, before your wedding, or just wait it out and decide that if you do have your period on your honeymoon, you'll live with it and be fine.

As far as getting pregnant with irregular periods, there are ways to make it much easier. You learn about your cervical mucus, watching it for signs of ovulation, and you can chart your body temperature in the mornings with something called a basal body thermometer. After charting it for a few months, you learn to recognize the slight temperature dip that happens just before you ovulate, which then sends your temperature back higher.

Do you hope to conceive very soon after you get married? Or to use other birth control between now and then?
