Hi, great concern! I have been donating my heair every year since I was about 5 years old. I used to donate my hair to Locks of Love, thinking it was a great orginization...until I did research. Locks of Love does not use all of the hair donated, also, Locks of Love throws extra hair out. For example, if one day they got a shipment in of hair that could make, say, 5 adult wigs woth a little bit left over, Locks of Love would make the 5 wigs and throw the remainder out. Comparativly, Beautiful Lengths, saves the excess hair and combines it to make more wigs with other excess hair. Beautiful Lengths adjusts the hair to fit the patient. Beautiful Lengtsh dyes hair and trims to make the patient happy and look great! After discovering these FACTS, I decided to switch my hair donations to Beautiful Lengths! =) I hope this has helped you and can help manyu more in the future. =)
