I have donated to both in the past, and BL has notified me of thanks and acknowledged the hair was usuable and will make a "free" wig for someone. Locs of love charges depending on income of the needed family. I think its horrible to have to go through something that takes away part of who you are and then submit a financial form to get a wig to feel better about yourself. I just just cut my hair for the 3rd donation 14" and BL is getting it. I have lost family to cancer and hv memebers fighting, One of the largest impacts on your esteem is your hairloss. U hv no clue how much it effects you unless it happens. I'm glad their are companies and programs out there like these two, but I'm not doing it to make a profit, I do it becuase I hv witnessed the sorrow of losing hair from family members and I'm in a position to help others, "for free".
