Yes, it can be normal to have irregular periods postpartum, but it would be recommended that you call your doctor to let him/her know that your period has lasted for two weeks (sounds like it is still occurring?), as to rule out any medical reasons for continued bleeding.

Intercourse has nothing to do with your menstrual cycle; the only bleeding that sex can cause are from small tears within the vaginal walls. This bleeding would be very minimal, if even noticeable (more like faint spotting).

Did you visit your doctor for your 6 week postpartum exam? Did you discuss your birth control options, as it is important to have protected sex (condom, pills, rhythm method, etc), so as to not put your body through a pregnancy too soon after giving birth.
