There are many reasons for a late period that does not include pregnancy: stress, weight loss, medication, age-related, medical conditions.

Are you taking birth control pills? If not, then you most likely ovulated, and just had a light period. That happens. How old are you, as age can be a factor, too. Teenagers and older adult women can especially have irregular periods with no other "reason".

Do you always have regular cycles, or are they sometimes irregular?
If you are not having any other symptoms, and your period does not start in the next week, you may want to call your doctor and ask for his/her recommendation.
