There's nothing wrong with testing at the end of the placebo pills just to be sure. However, you might want to wait and decide that based on how your period is. If it seems normal to you in all ways, that's a good sign that no pregnancy occurred. If it seems a little different to you in some way, a test may be called for -- just to relieve you, if nothing else.

Generally, when a woman misses two pills, the protocol is for her to take two pills two days in a row and practice an additional form of contraception for seven days. Is that what you did, or did you have "unprotected" sex around the time you missed those two pills?
