Some years ago a woman in her seventies was in hospital and on the day she was to be discharged a nurse asked her if someone was coming to collect her. The woman replied that yes, her father was collecting her. The nurse reported to her matron that she thought the woman was a bit deluded. Later on the same day an old man came in to collect the aptient and the matron asked his relationship to the patient. 'I'm her father' he replied and he was - at 103 years old he was still active and driving. This is a true story.
