Hello there! This post is very interesting to me. It sounds like we as a society almost have an anorexic-like way of thinking about oveweight issues, only in reverse. Like when someone with an eating disorder looks in a mirror and erroneously sees a heavy person, are some heavy people seeing their image and seeing a slimmer person than they actually are?
I guess the "how could this be?" angle of these statistics really interest me the most. Do you have any ideas on why people could feel this way?
Great share Diane! I am sure a lot of people will find this to be fascinating reading! Best in health, Michelle
