That does sound annoying, but could definitely be the side effect from Plan B (the "early" period on Sept 28th, that is). Your cycle may be a little "skewed" for this month, and that is OK. If you continue having periods that are fewer than 25 days apart, it would be a good idea to call your gynecologist.
It sounds like you took Plan B just as it was intended....for those mistakes or accidents, even when you were prepared (vasectomy and condom...can't be much more prepared than that!) :)
One more thing---Plan B should not be causing blood clots during your period, but some women do have heavy bleeding that contains clots, and is normal. If the clots are numerous and the bleeding is excessive (soaking more than 1-2 pads or tampons every hour), then you would want to call your doctor.
