Yes, this is normal...please do stop worrying and taking so many home pregnancy tests! You are OK!

Assuming you have ONLY had unprotected sex on the dates you mentioned (Sept 18th & 19th), have taken Plan B, gone to the doctor, had a pregnancy test there, and have taken a half-dozen other home pregnancy tests...you are NOT pregnant! Please stop worrying.

Plan B is like a mega-dose of hormonal contraceptives, and can "throw off" your cycle, as well as cause "breakthrough bleeding" (bleeding in-between your periods). This is OK and normal. Your doctor said everything looks fine, but you are still worried. Why? I hope you are able to use this excessive worry and stress to some good, and use it as a motivator to choose to have protected sex next time (condom or pill), because this seems really emotionally draining for you--I'm sorry you are so worried.

Some women can have a late period, or even miss a period, and this is OK. You have been to the doctor, so please trust in your medical evaluation, enjoy the next month worry-free, use protection, and mark on your calendar the date you expect your next period (late December, I assume). Give yourself permission to not think about your period until the date on the calendar.

Did your doctor talk with you about your birth control options, so that you can be more confident in knowing that you had protected sex by using the pill (99% effective at preventing pregnancy, but have to use every day for this effectiveness rate), or a condom (up to 98% effective). There are many, many other options as well, and we are happy to discuss them with you.
