i have a question, i am on birth control and i missed one pill this month and doubled up the next day. i asked my doctor and she said that its important to take it every day but you can miss one and double up and still be fine as long as you dont miss any more. then 2 days before my blue pills (the hormone pills) were supposed to run out, i had unprotected sex, my boy friend bought the next choice pills and had me take them, and i did. i took the first pill 12 hours after the unprotected sex. the next day i doubled up on my birth control pills to be sure and finish them. i should have started my period on saturday the 27th but it is now monday the 29th and i still haven't gotten it. im very nervous that the next choice didn't work properly.
