Oh, I totally understand. But don't be fearful or anxious. They will probably test your urine, draw some blood to check your hormone levels, and possibly do a pelvic exam and/or a vaginal sonogram. None of that hurts. Have you had a vaginal sonogram before? It is a long thin sonogram machine that the doctor inserts into your vagina so that she or he can see details of your ovaries, uterus, etc. It doesn't hurt at all, but if you've never had one you may feel a bit awkward. (Your feet are in stirrups just like with a pap smear).
Promise me you'll call and at least make an appointment, OK? Won't it be nice to actually figure out what's up?
