I love what you said and it really made me think about how a few cups of coffee and a couple of meals can change not only a woman's life, but the lives of those in her neighborhood. It's the "bring it forward" concept in action. I hope other women in Afghanistan will have access to this story. It's such a powerful message.
It made me want to go to the www.care.org and donate $65 to help another woman and let them know it was because of the article that moved me to do this.
We as women need to learn how to give. Most of the time it's the man that makes the decision and makes the donations. We need to take charge and start writing checks ourselves. Even if it's one dollar, it can make a huge difference in someone's life. Also, if you think about a million women giving just one dollar, you see how quickly that adds up. All of a sudden you have one million dollars and we've contributed a dollar amount we won't miss.
The message here is....Start Giving. It doesn't matter how much. We as women can change the world.
