how do you define "slept with" and how do you define "intercourse" - to me they mean the same thing. you can go to a local public health clinic to get birth control by making an appointment, but you usually have to take these 1 month before you start having vaginal intercourse without the use of condoms. different birth controls have different side effects so sometimes you'll have to experiment to see which ones work the best for you.
