Melanie,

Many men have a slight curve to their penis. Whether it is caused by some scar tissue or trauma to the penis. If the curve is more of a bend and is painful upon erection, then it is called Peyronie's disease and both can be straightened without surgery, though it takes some time.

As far as your question, any type of anal sex, whether it is with a penis (curved or not) or with a foreign object (a sex toy) can cause rectal damage. If you are planning to or have already practiced anal sex, it is important to use plenty of lubricant and take it really slow the first few times. Having anal sex is not just putting it in and enjoying it like in porn movies. Some women like it, MOST do not.

Attempting to put a penis in an area that really wasn't meant for it to be put in can be very damaging to your rectal wall--leading to hemorrhoids, anal fissures, and rectal prolapse. Anal incontinence may also occur if done very often and with large objects.

Along with this information, I should remind you that there are many diseases associated with anal sex. Anal cancer, infectious fecal matter (including chlamydia, e.coli, all types of hepatitis, syphilis, and HIV among others) may occur as a result of unprotected anal sex.

Good luck and be safe.
