Hello. I have had RA for three years. I keep fit by swimming mostly but recently have found it hard to get out to the pool. So, I started power walking on a treadmill at home. This is fine but I don't feel I am burning enough calories. I started some light jogging and am enjoying it. I do get pain in the heels of my feet but nowhere else. Yesterday I told my husband how much I was enjoying jogging. He was aghast that I was running, worried about the damage I may be doing to my joints. Almost every site I have come accross on the net about this topic tells people with RA not to jog. It is down putting and I feel so restricted. So, I was very glad to come accross this article. Thanks :)
