This article addresses a very important point that is not being talked about in discussions over this bill - HEALTH. If this bill doesn't pass and pollution continues to be unregulated, we will all suffer the consequences (which we are already seeing in increased asthma and respiratory illnesses and worse). We need to be taking these kinds of factors into account when considering our stance on the bill rather than just considering the money of it. Regardless of what costs this bill might incur, the cost of inaction is going to be MUCH higher, especially as far as health bills and disaster relief are concerned. I encourage everyone to call their Senators TODAY and tell them to vote for this bill!
