I've been having some neck-clicking as well over the last several weeks. I went in for my annual physical with my doctor and she ordered a carotid ultrasound since I told her the clicking was silent but felt like it was coming from within my neck (not along my spine). Results were normal. Went to my chiropractor and he feels it is from the joints rubbing together (tiny little neck joints). I don't have pain but it's an odd feeling, kind of indescribable - just a dull blah feeling. It almost feels like my neck is "stuck" or that something inside my neck is sticking. I've had something similar with what my doctor calls a "dangling rib" (women have them) which sometimes clicks and rubs against other bones.
