Hi Susan and others.

I need some help to try to put my mind at ease.

First of all, let me state that I am a guy and in no way an expert on birth control pills which is why I turn to you folks. I have done my best to educate myself.

5 days ago, I had sex with an ex girlfriend and ejaculated inside of her as I do often. She is religious about taking her extended/continuous birth control (Camrese) at the same time every night. On the night we were sexually active, she took her birth control but vomited at some point due to anxiety. I do not know if she vomited prior to or after taking the pill and she does not recall. She states that the pill is small and dissolves into the system quickly but if she vomited after taking the pill it is unknown if it was after 10 minutes or an hour.

The next day, she resumed her pills but DID NOT double up. Since that time, she has not missed any days. I also know that she had been taking the pill for at least 21 consecutive days prior to having sex. I believe this product is a 3 month cycle?

Now, I should also state that this is a woman that has been treated for and diagnosed with anxiety (separation) and prescribed medication which she stopped taking when we dated. She really wants us to get back together.

Now, she states she wakes up with stomach cramps and hopes she is not pregnant - 5 days after intercourse!

My question is this given these facts:

1. She takes her pill religiously and has for years
2. She took it on the day of intercourse but vomited at some point (unknown time)
3. She resumed the day after but did not double up
4. She had been taking it for at least 21 days straight and has not missed another day since vomiting

Is there a high chance for pregnancy and should I be worried?

Thanks
