It is impossible for anyone to know who the father of your child is, without a paternity test, as any possible conception merely a few days apart will not be distinguishable by just looking at the calendar, guessing, or even hoping. It could be your husband's or it could be your boyfriend's.

The reason: conception is a process, and takes 10-14 days. Sperm can live inside your body for 3 days...even up to 5 days when most fertile...and you can already see we are past your "two-day window" of possibilities. Add to that the reality that each process takes time: an egg is released and takes time to travel down your fallopian tube. Sperm is in your body for perhaps minutes or 5 days, and takes time to travel into your fallopian tubes to fertilize an egg. From there...the fertilized egg takes time to travel down to uterus and find a cozy spot to implant itself.

I'm sorry, as I know it would be helpful to be able to pinpoint the exact moment of conception, but we would love to help you in other ways.

How are you feeling about being pregnant? Does your husband know as well?
