You said you are on the pill, so you are having protected intercourse, which means it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. I am assuming that you are using your birth control consistently and correctly (every day at the same time) so that it is 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. The only better odds you get are 100% effective at preventing pregnancy through abstinence.
Using a condom is a good idea to protect against sexually transmitted diseases/infections (STDs/STIs), and a good back-up or doubling-up method for pregnancy prevention. It is OK if the condom broke since you are on the pill, and to prevent a break in the future, be sure to use plenty of lubrication and make sure your boyfriend knows to leave room at the tip for semen (the two biggest condom-use errors).
You are right that taking a pregnancy test too early (before a missed period) would not give you an accurate result.
Why are you so worried about being pregnancy when using the pill?
