If you had unprotected sex last night, the cramping may be due to air acquired during sex, not pregnancy. You would not get pregnant over night-- pregnancy is more of a process. However, since your last period was Oct 15, I'd recommend taking an over the counter medication known as Plan B to help prevent pregnancy and can be taken up to 72 hours of having unprotected sex. From Oct 15 to Oct 27 is 12 days, many women ovulate at 14 days-- some before, some after so it is best to be safe.

Please, I urge you to have protected sex if you are not looking to conceive a baby. A condom takes 2 seconds to put on, regardless of how many margaritas you've had. Also keep in mind that Plan B should NOT be used as a contraceptive method only in case of emergencies such as this one.
