Hi Lisa - Thank you for sharing information on your experiences. The process of going through cancer treatment is so overwhelming, with much new information to process and a lot of the outcome dependent on the instincts of both the patient and the oncologist. It sounds like you're a very active participant in your care, and I have to believe that you have generated a lot of what you call "luck" by your own attitude and actions.
