I had this procedure 3 years ago due to heavy continuous periods. I do not remember any significant watery discharge, and my periods never went away. My migraines however became manageable and my fluid retention disappeared until this year. Currently, my periods are increasing in frequency and duration again. I am about to turn 41 and my hot flashes seem to have begun. If this pattern continues I will have to ask my dr what my options are. Many women I know have started hormone therapy since the cryo wasnt enough. I do not regret the procedure at all, I just wish it had worked for me completely.
