Yes, I have experienced severe low back pain, centered above the tailbone and deviating to the right side and affecting my right leg. My workplace mandates the flu shot, and I received the shot Oct 16, 2017. That same day, I experienced debilitating back pain to the point where I couldn't bend, stand, sit, or walk. Sleeping was impossible. Staying awake was worse. I am on day 6 and still stiff. Extra strength Tylenol is the only thing that gets me through the day. I called my PCP and got the lot number of the flu shot dose that I received: UT5936MA. Googling that code yields zero information.
Furthermore, this is the third year where I have experienced this pain post receiving the flu shot. The other years, I failed to make the connection and thought it was me. I received an MRI of my pelvis in 2014 and a CT scan of pelvis in 2015, both times around the same dates. Both scans were negative of anything. It was this year that I officially made the connection...the low back/pelvis pain accompanies the flu shot. It is official. My body hates it and each year my body reacts worse to it. My concern is that this shot is not safe and the public should no longer be exposed to it.
