October, 2017 Same here. Perfectly healthy. At 8:00am I received the flu shot at work. At 12:00 noon I started feeling a pain in my lower right back which radiated to the front right. It left me unable to walk. Went to the Dr.s office where I underwent, cat scan, X-rays and MRI. I also earned 3 days in the hospital. On a good note I found out that I am really healthy but in pain. I made it clear to everyone treating me that I had the flu shot shortly before the onset of back pain. Most dismissed the theory and any linkage to the shot. However, there were some ancillary folks such as nurses, chiropractors that absolutely agreed with the connection. At the end of the day none of these people felt what I felt at the time of the shot and how it went to my back right away. Easy to say in retrospect, but had I known I would never have gotten the shot.
