I can understand your frustration, concern and confusion!
For most women, a home pregnancy test is 99% effective at detecting the "pregnancy hormones" once a missed period has occurred.
There is a chance that it was too early, even if just by a day. If you can, try to wait another 3-5 days and take another test. (I know---easier said than done!). Any symptoms you are feeling now may/may not be early pregnancy symptoms. Most women do not have heartburn-related pregnancy until they are further along. Breast tenderness can be hormone-related, either due to pregnancy or upcoming period.
I hope this information helps, but you may also want to call your doctor's office to ask their advice, since you have had a history of a blighted ovum pregnancy (although you would most likely have a positive pregnancy test if you had another blighted ovum).
How do you feel about waiting another 3-5 days...is this doable?
