I have had this for at least 10 years and thought it was just me. When I'm walking and my feet "heat up" in my shoe it's like sharp burning pain and it is so painful to walk. The pain is my baby toe and the toe next to it. I think it is pressure related. I have flat feet if that matters? I stick corn pads between my toes and that helps a bit. I also have the podiatrist (and now I do it myself) shave off the callous on my big toe which helps. Lately, my own invention is to use breathable medical tape and tape my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd toes together which I think stabilizes them. But I really want a long term solution.
