Hi, Hanna,

Welcome, and thank you for your question!

Pregnyl is an injection of Chorionic Gonadotropin, a hormone that stimulates ovulation in women. Its Pregnancy Risk Category is C, which means "No adequate human or animal studies; or adverse fetal effects in animal studies, but no available human data."

That sounds a bit worrisome, I know. But please know that if you conceived on the 12th and had the injection on the 13th, the embryo would not even have implanted yet. Typicallly, it can take 7 to 14 days for the embryo to implant in the uterus after fertilization.

I am afraid I can't tell you why you didn't see the normal clear, stretchy mucus, other than suggesting that maybe with the little extra stress from traveling, you had less than normal or didn't notice. But even so, it would still have been possible for you to conceive.

Good luck, we'll keep our fingers crossed for you!
