Original poster have you ever figured out what is causing your syptoms I'm a 125 lb 25yo male I was diagnosed with gerd and asthma only by symptoms and developed a whole list of issues after I started taking corticosteroid inhalers etc. and I have noticed the same problem when I wake up it's almost like everything is stiff when I wake up my mid section hurts my ribs are tender I feel short of breath but when I do a peak flow immediately after waking up the numbers are normal,then a while later I don't notice the symptoms anymore. I have been on gerd medication for 6 months and haven't felt any reflux or symptoms of the gerd. I would be. I'd love tto know how they determined you were mis diagnosed by what method. Our symptoms are very much identical
