I think I need more information, as I'm not quite sure the physical sensation(s) you are experiencing. You mentioned that you wake up with the feeling of your organs being crushed, which I would associate with pain, but you did not mention "pain", just that you have breathing problems and are wondering if it is sleep apnea due to breathing slow?

Can you describe where in your body your organs are feeling "crushed" (you mentioned that it is not a full bladder...is it your bladder that hurts?). You also mentioned your breathing problems...is it your lungs that hurt?

There are different types of pain, discomfort or not "feeling quite right", and if you could describe what "crushing" you are feeling: tightness, pounding, squeezing, pulsating, stabbing pain, aching, dull pain. Also, where exactly you feel the "crushing", and if it happens every night, is it seasonal, etc.

What makes you think that your organs feeling crushed would be sleep apnea? The symptoms of sleep apnea include:
* Fatigue and sleepiness during waking hours
* Loud snoring
* Breathing that stops during the night (noticed by the partner)
* Repeated wakening at night
* Unrefreshing sleep
* Morning headaches
* Poor concentration or problems with memory
* Irritability or short temper

You also mentioned that you were misdiagnosed with asthma (you may have had asthma at some point, and it could have resolved itself or been seasonal---as it is a generic term for inflammation of the bronchial tubes---asthma is not always chronic), but that you were re-diagnosed...with what?

Hope to hear back from you soon!
