Deciding whether to use HRT -- or continue it, or stop it -- is a very individual question that millions of us are struggling with right now. You are certainly not alone.
Do you still have your uterus and/or ovaries?
Your doctor is probably reacting to evidence that longtime HRT can contribute to incidences of uterine or ovarian cancer in women who still have those organs intact. (It is not so much of a concern in women who have had hysterectomies). Or that it can contribute to the incidence of breast cancer.

I love the fact that you are 65 and look and feel 50!! And that your mom lived to be 101! Was she on any HRT?
Is there any history of breast, uterine or ovarian cancer in your family?
