Shruti,

You are also very young. Do you regularly do breast exams? Young women's breasts are often quite fibrous and lumpy. That's one reason that regular self exams -- monthly, perhaps -- are valuable, because you learn what your own breasts feel like. One of the things to do, when you feel a lump, is to see if there is a similar lump on the other side -- in other words, are you feeling an actual lump, or are you feeling the structure of your skeleton and your breast tissues?

Is the lumpiness you feel all over? Or is it concentrated in one place? Does it feel hard, or soft? Is it movable? Are you having any pain? Is there anything showing on your skin, like redness or a rash? Do your nipples look normal?

Please get back to us and let us know a little more. But Miscortes is right -- you never want to take this lightly. Please make an appointment with a doctor as well.
