If there is anything I have learned it is that there is no point to all of this struggling if I cannot share what I have learned and support others.
I just found this site and I am glad to help anyone who is on the path. I finally had to get real with myself about my ability to work as a psychologist. I had to let go of the idea that I SHOULD know how to handle everything that was happening. There was a huge learning curve. Finally the pain became so great that I could not focus on my patients and function responsibly as a therapist. I had to let go.
If there is anyone who would like some ideas or support for these very difficult decisions I am happy to help in any way I can.
